Triphammer Marketplace is a decent place to go if you are trying to go to Ithaca bakery or one of the specialty stores there. However, it is not the nicest place anymore. It was originally one of the main shopping centers in the area, but now it is more run-down than anything else. It only has a few stores remaining, and while they are kept up and have some good things, it is not a very enjoyable place to go shopping. The best things it has to offer are the Ithaca Bakery, and the liquor store. There is a women's clothing store for older women, and a few kitschy stores, but for the most part you would be better serve going to the local mall. Which is only a mile away.
There are some really cool local shops with smaller crowds. The halls do get a little chilly in the winter, but the stores are all comfortable.
Love Triphammer Marketplace. Great food and drink, booze, a few cute boutiques, pharmacy; fitness classes, hardware store... you name it. Always pretty quiet in the pedestrian areas and lively in the coffee shops etc. Can be tricky to find your way to the parking lots from Triphammer Rd. if you're not familiar with the area but worth the effort!
The Triphammer Marketplace has a lot to offer, featuring a lovely laundromat, an Asian foods market, an Ithaca Bakery location, a Re-Use Center location, a barber shop, a sporting goods store, and more. An excellent stop for bargain shoppers and curious travelers alike, the Triphammer Marketplace is an experience I recommend.
Went to the cafe, reuse center, Ace hardware and the pharmacy, all staff were attentive and caring without over-acting. Just moved here, great place to start.
