Oops - just wrote my narrative for this on rating for the shops at Ithaca mall. This place alphas the great indie movie theatre, cute crafts and gift shops and Co-working space. Near Cornell campus. Parking nearby too.
There are so many things on the commons you can check out. I love the snowflake lights they put up in the winter. Makes it look almost magical at night.
Very busy as 125th Cornell University Anniversary and parent's weekend, but we still found a lovely Asian/Thai restaurant. Many shops and restaurants. A must see. Ithaca is an historic district.
This is like the place to go in Ithaca if you are not hiking. We went on a trip and checked out the local night life. They have stores during the day but at night it get a bit quiet (we went during the week but during Halloween). Still very enjoyable!
Fun location and their dedication to the art in the area is inspiring. I enjoyed the statues thoroughly and if you're interested in bringing children there there is a small playground. Also the stores surrounding the commons are quite unique.
