Their food is usually pretty good, but it's pretty expensive for the portions you get. Last week I placed an order for delivery over the phone. The guy who picked up was pretty rude and wanted me to order online. My internet was down at the time anyway, but it isn't unusual for a customer to place an order over the phone. You have it as an option when you call the number. My food took over an 1 and a half to arrive and it was cold. I didn't tip this time. I felt a little bad because it was the same delivery person who came for an order placed a week before and the food arrived in about 30 minutes then so I did tip then. I felt a bit like I was punishing her and that sucked. I don't think it was her fault. You need more people doing deliveries and an insulated container or bag to keep the food hot. To recieve cool, soggy, boneless chicken wings was infuriating after paying $20 and waiting an hour and a half. I've had some good experiences there too, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The macaroni bowls and boneless wings are irresistible as long as you get them hot. If you have a car, I'd opt for pickup with Luna's. Their delivery is too unpredictable with my experience ranging from good to awful at different times. This was the last time I place an order for delivery though.
This is not Kevin but his wife posting. My girlfriend and I went here tonight and while the food was tasty the sandwich Philly cheesesteak was just a small square sandwich no chips with it and over $10.00. My friend enjoyed the Cornell chicken quesadilla but chicken was fatty. Something happened between the front counter person and someone working in the back and they kept yelling back and forth in the kitchen area until the front person just left. Looking for nice relaxing dinner not drama.
Luna used to have great food, but ever since they expanded from one restaurant to three, the quality and portions have steadily declined while the prices seem to have increased. The supposedly "fresh cut" fries I attempted to eat today were as hard as a rock and probably would've broken my teeth had I actually bit down on it. I suspect they are frozen, as fresh cut french fries would never cook that way. I really want to like Luna again so please fix your quality control. But for now I won't be eating at Luna anytime in the near future.
Ordered my food and was so excited for delicious sounding vegan options. 20 minutes past intended delivery time I called to see where my food was and they said the delivery man left and that it should be there any minute. Almost two hours after I ordered and still no food, I called again and was sent to the answering machine.
I've always had good experiences ordering from here. However, what puts Luna above is their excellent customer service. Recently ordered the pizza and wings for my family through Grubhub, when cold pizza and fewer than 10 wings came in, they were quick to ameliorate the problem and gave us a refund along with more wings and pizza. Will order from here again. Oh, did I mention that the food is delicious! I've tried an array of different sandwiches and now the pizza and wings and the consensus from the family is that they make great food.
