I prefer this gym to Helen Newman. The upstairs has treadmills and ellipticals, as well as free weights, cable machines, and various other machines. Downstairs has olympic-style lifting platforms. With that said, the summer hours of this gym are terrible: 7 am to 3 pm weekdays, closed on weekends. Who is the target demographic for a gym with hours like this? Retired people and unemployed folks I guess. It's a mystery to me why Helen Newman has better summer hours (6 am to 8:30 pm) given it's inconvenient location, tiny parking lot size, and lack of lifting platforms (and even the "no deadlifting allowed" rule).
