I am really frustrated at this point and wish I could write a review with zero stars. My husband ATTEMPTED to surprise me at work with flowers for Valentine's day. He placed an order and indicated they were coming to my place of work here in Ithaca. As of 3:45pm the flowers were not delivered which is how I found out about my "surprise" since he called me to see if I had gotten them. When he called the florist the woman said "well I will have to call you back." My office will be closing in forty minutes. If you take an order and ask your customers if they are going to an office, you should take that into consideration for delivery time. I on the other hand ordered him an adorable succulent/truck piece for his office through an OWEGO NY Florist who had his delivered to his Ithaca office before 1pm today. You are right in Ithaca and could not make a delivery 15 minutes from your site.
My experience with FFH was positive from start to finish. They are extremely professional and prompt. I met with Holly told her what my needs and budget were for my daughters wedding and she listened worked within that budget to give us outstanding floral arrangements.
We have ordered flowers from Holly at Flower Fashions for many years for many occasions. Holly has great customer service skills, a great vision and creative mind, and great prices. I showed her a couple Pinterest ideas and then let her make them her own. We used beautiful hydrangeas throughout the entire wedding. She let me know that if the flowers come in and do not look good, she needs to have the flexibility to substitute something else in replace of them. I knew that she had to do that for our centerpieces but none of the guests knew. Flowers are so delicate and don’t ship very well all of the time, I would rather have something look beautiful and similar to my vision than have something exactly what I want and wilting. I trusted her to make sure everything looked beautiful and she didn’t disappoint. She let us know that if she has a consult with a family, SHE is the one to do the flowers, which you don’t always find in flower shops. I highly recommend Holly and Flower Fashions for her expertise, attention to detail, and excellent prices.
Working with Flower Fashions was a dream come true. I know almost nothing about flowers, but I had a really specific aesthetic in mind. Holly had an uncanny ability to listen to my vague ramblings and translate them into a bouquet and table flowers even more beautiful than I had been imagining. She knows so much, and the selection at Flower Fashions is amazing. Holly was also super flexible -- accommodating all of my and my mom's requests (i.e. individual arrangements for each table, a last minute addition of flowers for the chuppah, etc), and miraculously kept everything within our budget. Plus she was always super kind and available; she always kept us calm, instead of adding to the stress of planning. I can't recommend Flower Fashions by Haring highly enough!
