The Falls are gorgeous. I recommend seeing them after a downpour or when the snow melts! The trails are easy to follow but can be a bit strenuous for people not in the best of shape - LOTS of stair climbing.
Stunning walk up the waterfalls and alongside the river. Plenty of opportunities to dip your feet or cool off along the way! Well worth the hike up all the stairs at the beginning of the trail - just be prepared for them!
It's a beautiful gorge with a number of small falls and cascades. There is well maintained, short trail in the gorge which is very nice. It's easy except for all the steps. There just a few trails, all short, but you can string them together to get a longer hike (maybe 2 hours?)
The gorge trail is worth a 1 hour stop.
There's a fantastic swimming hole at the base of the falls with lifeguard and changing room with showers.
Just off the road, nice for a quick stop and some pics. Worth going a little out of the way but I wouldn’t detour too much. Accessible and easy to see for everyone. Looks like a decent swim hole in the summer and tons of picnic tables and a bathroom building but we were here in November so everything was closed and water fountain down for the season.
A great park to visit with the classic Buttermilk Falls the draw of the place. Very busy on the weekends but well worth the effort.
