Nice museum, fairly empty the day I visited. Grandson enjoyed playing in the kid area with toy dinosaurs. The ice touching exhibit he also enjoyed. Aimed mainly at older kids, needs a bit more for youngest kids. Nice gift shop. Lovely bones.

We had our wedding reception here and it was so awesome!! Such a unique venue and all of our guests loved it. It was perfect for dancing and people had fun interacting with the exhibits too. The staff was also great to work with. It was the perfect venue for our event!

Excellent! The displays and videos, plus hands-on kids' activities are very well done. There is much to learn here, including practical steps we can all take to address

our changing climate.

Yes the Earth is more than 10,000 years old, and it fascinating. Highlight of our visit was our 8 year old daughter getting to actually touch a fossilized dinosaur bone that was being cleaned.

A must see if visiting Ithaca or Tompkins County. Great, easy to access info. Fantastic ties with local geology.
