Even though they forgot to put in our order and our food was very late, our waiter was very apologetic and brought out free espresso drinks. The food was very good and the scones were awesome. Coffee has a nice low acid taste. Prices are slightly high but will go back.

I had high hopes the first time I went to the Carriage House and The Loft and they've yet to disappoint. Hopefully the trend continues.

I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews. Even the reviews I give typically have at least one negative. I have no complaints about the Carriage House. After hearing about it, driving past, it and googling the menu countless times...I finally made the trip for brunch one day and have come back almost every weekend since. The cost is a little cringe inducing, but I've tried many many things on the menu and enjoy it every time. It's a splurge place for sure.

More than the great food, is the ambiance. The upstairs loft that they've renovated is absolutely gorgeous. They have a wine happy hour from 4-6PM and they always hook it up and make sure you get your moneys worth. This has continually stayed as an Ithaca favorite.
